Try this tox free and effective recipe to eliminate mould in your home today. The spray can be used to effectively kill mould spores on hard and soft surfaces.

INGREDIENTS FOR 500ML

• 1 teaspoon of clove oil

• 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil

• 500ml water

• Optional: Vodka or witch hazel to disperse the oils through the water

METHOD

Combine the water and essential oils in your freshly cleaned 500ml Améli Home vessel, stir and screw the trigger spray cap back on.

If the essential oils have not dispersed effectively, add vodka or witch hazel and stir.  You may need anywhere from 2-4 tablespoons, but keep checking and stirring until it has been effectively dispersed. 

USE

BATHROOM: Spray the solution onto the tiles and surfaces, give it a scrub and spray again. Allow the solution to penetrate the mould for at least 30 minutes and then thoroughly rinse off.

FABRICS: Spray onto the fabric, leave for up to an hour to ensure the mould spores have been killed and then wash the fabric with laundry detergent and allow to dry in the sun if possible.

NOTES

Please test in an inconspicuous location before using.

We recommend wearing protective clothing, such as a mask and gloves to avoid inhalation of mould spores and to avoid spreading the mould spores into other parts of your home.

If you keep this spray bottle in your shower and use it regularly, it can prevent future mould growth.

Using essential oils is usually safe when diluted with other liquids, however always research this beforehand, especially if pets or children may come into contact with the liquid.
